GTA Member Clark College Offers “Professional Skills Training for Employees” in January

In every industry, companies are making the same statement, “We are having a hard time finding job candidates with the professional skill needed in today’s market.” Clark College’s new 16-hour Professional Skills Training will make your employees more successful in their job.

The content of the Professional Skills Training provides an understanding of individual roles in the context of the entire organization and how their performance and work quality can impact the company and co-workers. Participants will learn:

  • Presenting a positive first impression
  • Communicating through body language
  • Developing your positive mindset and emotional intelligence
  • Setting goals for success
  • Developing digital communication skills
  • Presenting a professional appearance
  • Working in teams
  • Effective communication; getting your message across
  • Communicating through conflict
  • Learning from feedback
Training dates are Friday, January 5, 12, 19 and 26 from 8:00am – 12:00pm each day at the Vancouver campus. Cost is $429 per person; scholarships may be available. Contact FWevers@clark.edu to reserve your seat today.
