He is proud to represent the constituents of House District 52, which encompasses Hood River and parts of Clackamas and Multnomah Counties.
As a small business owner, Mark understands the importance of organizations such as the Gorge Technology Alliance. He supports the GTA because of their mission to not only strengthen connections between the technology business sector but also because of the GTA’s focus on educational and workforce development opportunities. In addition to his work in Salem, Mark was recently re-elected to serve his third term on the Hood River County School board. He recognizes the need to have strong Career and Technical Education programs, apprenticeship opportunities, and communication between the local community and our education systems. The GTA provides an example of how the private sector can partner with our schools to provide our students with relevant educational opportunities and prepare them to fulfill Oregon’s workforce needs.
