“In 35 years as an aerospace engineer I have developed technology and led teams that put over 100 products into commercial production. From carbon fiber windsurfing equipment to UAV flight hardware, from scientific electronics housings to an underwater powered sled that took a human to 380 feet below sea level on one breath. 

 

I co-founded a tech company that pioneered the use of advanced composite aerospace materials in new applications and led that company as CEO while also doing the engineering while we 15X our sales. My partner and co-founder later came on as CEO and I became the chief engineer and we did another 15X.  We set up 7 different production facilities in the United States, 2 in Thailand, and I have done onsite engineering and build projects all around the US, Curacao and The Cayman Islands.

 

I know how to get things done and motivate and inspire teams. I practice servant leadership that seeks to align people’s responsibility, authority and accountability. I believe in growth mindset and have learned to see obstacles and challenges as opportunities to learn, acquire and stack capabilities.”
