Gorge Women in STEM started in late 2017 as a group dedicated to connecting and supporting women working in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math in the Columbia River Gorge.
In 2023, GWIS is focused on continuing to build an empowered community while providing frequent opportunities for people to gather.
Participation in GWIS events is open to all women and allies that align with the mission of the group.
This initiative is supported by the Gorge Tech Alliance, with special thanks to our 2023 sponsors Dana Meyer Consulting, SIGMA Design, Inter-fluve, and Overwatch Imaging. Event sponsorship and in-kind donations of venue space are greatly appreciated. Email gwis@crgta.org for any donation inquiries.
