Dana Meyer Consulting

Dana Meyer Consulting offers business consulting, executive and career coaching from its Hood River office. Owner Dana Meyer helps leaders and business owners thrive in dynamic environments and master the people side of running a business. “Great leaders need great support,” says Dana. Executive coaching can range from experienced leaders, new leaders, and also specific support for women in leadership.

On the business consulting side, Dana’s depth of background in organizational effectiveness and strategic human resources credentials sets her apart in the Gorge (see below for more on Dana’s background). Typical customers are businesses or teams of 20 to 30 people, or small businesses looking to scale quickly.

“When a small company is moving past the start-up phase and outgrowing what has worked in the past, that transition point is where I can help,” says Dana. “When people problems arise, when the complexities of the business and the people is weighing on a business leader, I help with new tools and new ways of doing things that allow the business to grow and the team to operate better.” With strategic planning, organizational effectiveness and team performance tools, Dana offers unique services in the region.

Her love of teaching is also resulting in a series of leadership classes through Columbia Gorge Community College that focus on common skills needed by new managers and supervisors. Classes are once per month on the Hood River campus, with the next being “Time Management at Work” on May 16th. Visit this page on Dana’s website for class descriptions and links for easy registration.

About Dana Meyer

Dana is a newer Gorge resident, relocating in August 2018 from Santa Barbara, CA.  Dana comes to businesses and leadership consulting after 14 years as a human resources executive with Raytheon, a $24 billion aerospace company with over 70,000 employees worldwide. Dana was encouraged to relocate her business to the Gorge by long-time friend Stephanie Hartman, who moved her own leadership consulting business to Austin. Dana is happily settled into her new community and notes how grounded and welcoming people are in the Gorge.
