detailedly, llc

detailedly, llc is a local technical communication company specializing in technical writing and editing. The business was started by Dara Easley in 2015, combining her background in technical writing and science to serve clients well. “Content doesn’t need to be complex,” says Dara. “With a strong grasp of the content and a good understanding of the audience, all content can be approachable.”

Dara draws on her unique past experience in physics, writing for an IP/ patent law firm and writing for Vernier Software & Technology to offer a scientific mind with strong writing and editing skills. As a result, detailedly, llc specializes in proofreading, editing, and developing technical content. This includes reviewing text for print and web, reviewing content against a style guide to improve consistency, and developing user-focused help documentation.

These services are especially good for smaller tech companies and start-ups where the owner/ engineers are writing content on top of all their other duties. detailedly, llc can review content to ensure its accessibility for target audiences, or they can develop the content from scratch by working closely with the engineers. “I enjoy working with engineers and technical people – I understand how we work and think,” says Dara.

From assembly and training manuals, to product documentation, user manuals or marketing materials, Dara is able to write across a range of audience understanding. detailedly llc finds there is a role for editing and reviewing that doesn’t need to be as formal as a manuscript process. The process is flexible to provide clients with the level of editing they need, whether that means simple editing of content provided by the client or a full rewrite.

detailedly, llc is a member of the GTA to increase connections with tech businesses in the region. Learn more about their services at detailedlyllc.com or contact Dara at 541-432-1031 or dara@detailedlyllc.com.
